About Me

I’m Jack! Thanks for your interest in Starlight AVL and in my story.

Since I was small, I have always loved the creative and audiovisual realms – I was always looking through camera viewfinders and singing musical creations throughout my childhood. The technological and electronic realms have been near and dear to my heart as well, with computers and the inner workings of devices being core memories from that era too.
Studying electrical engineering at the University of Notre Dame while pursuing many creative and musical activities, I slowly began to discover these passions crystallizing into a love for audiovisual technology and production.

Since 2022, I have been enamored with audio, lighting, video, broadcasting, networking, and the associated technology. I was also inspired by the powerful experiences that these technologies can create for the people who attend them. Searching for a way to put these passions to good use and turn a personal hobby into something more impactful, Starlight AVL was born in 2025.

I hope I can become a resource in the Dallas community for personal, passionate audiovisual services and equipment, especially for smaller organizations that need quality productions for their events without dealing with larger AV contractors.
